M30272M - Overhauling the chassis

Part of the chassis after needle gunning has taken placeThe chassis of the apparatus area after needle gunning has been completed. The next stage will be to degrease it and treat it with acid before priming, undercoating and then top coating in black.

Since this picture was taken all the areas are now painted in black.

A section of the underframe, showing one of the 'v' brake hangers after it had been cleaned, degreased, acid treated and painted in metal primer. Work is progressing on the chassis so that will soon be in black top coat.

View of the battery box area one the box had been removedAccess to the chassis is much easier now that the battery box has been removed. It will also make renovation of the battery box that much more simple.
