Thursday 8th January1M91 North East TPO Up at Peterborough with the "Geordies" It's the last but one day of the TPO system and for most of the crew its the last but one day before redundancy; yet everyone of them is still working hard to meet the needs of the Royal Mail's customers. Here the are the crew working in POS 80354. For the record the train formation was 90040 94411 95749 95754 94434 80379 80368 80419 80354 80359 94453 95715 94464 |
One of the fittings in 80354 being used to store tie-raps, labels and someones packup. |
80354's "catering" area - the boiler being one of (if not the) most looked after pieces of equipment on the TPO. |
Mick - A SUPERB bloke. I met him for the first time during our trip on 9th June 2003, he has a great interest in the TPO system. |
The "Gaffers" - left to right, Jeff (TPO), Dave (TPO), Simon (Peterborough) - Guys, I would just like to say a big "THANKS" for all the time you have given me over the last six months, it is appreciated. |
